Animals, birds and flowers

In these paintings, I exploit the technical possibilities of my technique - including pastiglia (sculpting the gesso ground) and sgraffito (scratching through paint to reveal underlying gold) - and use them to pick out the graceful forms of the natural world.

Dans ces tableaux, j'exploite les possibilités techniques de ma technique - notamment la pastiglia (sculpture du fond de gesso) et le sgraffito (grattage de la peinture pour révéler l'or sous-jacent) - et les utilise pour faire ressortir les formes gracieuses du monde naturel.
